The gp-8000-50-7 is an electromechanical pressure switch that monitors hydraulic system pressure and triggers electrical circuit changes at a preset threshold. When system pressure reaches the defined setpoint, the switch opens or closes its contacts to signal pressure conditions to cockpit indicators or automated systems. Qualified to RTCA DO-160 environmental standards for vibration, temperature, and altitude exposure.
Installation requires mounting per the aircraft maintenance manual with proper electrical connections to relevant wiring diagrams. Setpoint adjustment follows OEM specifications for the specific hydraulic circuit being monitored.
