Product Description
The h44gs100m is a mercury-vapor UV blacklight lamp designed for fluorescent penetrant inspection in aircraft maintenance. This lamp emits ultraviolet light to reveal fluorescent indications on metallic surfaces during nondestructive testing procedures. Used in MRO inspection stations to detect cracks, corrosion, and material defects on engine components, fasteners, and structural parts.
The lamp conforms to ASTM E1417 and SAE AMS 2644 penetrant inspection standards. Requires compatible ballast and control gear for operation. Install per equipment manufacturer specifications and maintain proper UV safety protocols.
