The HL326-5-6 is an alloy-steel Hi-Lok protruding tension-head pin designed for high-strength airframe joints requiring interference-fit assembly. This fastener features 1/16-inch grip increments and installs with a frangible collar held by hex recess during torqueing. Used in tension-critical structural applications where conventional bolts cannot provide adequate load capacity.
Installation requires following aircraft SRM/AMM specifications for collar selection and torque values. Common in fuselage skin joints, wing attachments, and control surface connections on commercial and general aviation aircraft.
