The IFC-10 is an intelligent flap controller for experimental aircraft electric flap systems. This TCW Technologies unit drives DC motor actuators up to 10 amperes and manages preset flap positions without requiring a dedicated position sensor. It integrates with Van's RV-series flap actuators and accommodates both pilot and copilot switch inputs.
When paired with TCW's ASW-1 airspeed switch, the controller can inhibit flap deployment above Vfe for safety compliance. Installation follows TCW documentation and AC 43.13-1B guidance for experimental aircraft modifications.
