The IN4007 is a silicon rectifier diode in a DO-41 axial package for aircraft electrical and avionics circuits. This general-purpose diode handles DC rectification and provides protection against inductive voltage spikes in low-power systems. Commonly used as a flyback diode across relay coils to suppress transient surges that could damage sensitive components.
The diode conducts in one direction while blocking reverse current, making it essential for power supply filtering and circuit protection. Install per aircraft wiring diagram specifications and AC 43.13-1B guidance.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
