The in534 is a semiconductor diode that conducts current in one direction while blocking reverse flow in aircraft electrical circuits. It suppresses voltage transients across relay coils and inductive loads on DC buses, protecting avionics and flight systems from damaging spikes. Commonly installed in parallel with relay windings for flyback suppression.
Installation requires correct polarity orientation per aircraft wiring diagrams and SAE AS50881 EWIS standards. Verify placement and polarity against AC 43.13-1B guidance before final assembly.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Avionics compatibility depends on your aircraft model and existing installation. The DIODE is available in: As Removed. We recommend checking your aircraft's wiring diagrams and STC documentation, or contact our avionics team for compatibility assistance.
Availability of an FAA 8130-3 tag depends on the part condition. Overhauled and repaired units typically include 8130-3 documentation. As-removed units may include a removal tag with trace history. Contact us for specific documentation on the condition you need.
We can arrange bench testing through our network of FAA-certified repair stations. Call (904) 998-9101 for testing availability and turnaround times, or submit an RFQ with your specific requirements.
