Product Description

The k1000-5 is a two-lug, self-locking anchor nut for aircraft structural applications. Featuring a 5/16-24 UNJF-3B thread in steel, it meets NASM25027 performance standards for blind fastening. The nut rivets permanently to airframe structures and accepts a mating screw to secure panels and brackets in locations with limited access.

Installation requires two 3/32 rivets per manufacturer specifications. Ideal for securing components where through-bolt access is unavailable.

Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
