The KDM 705A is a Bendix/King distance measuring equipment (DME) transceiver paired with a KDI 571-10 indicator for IFR navigation. This avionics system displays slant-range distance, groundspeed, and time-to-station information by receiving signals from ground-based DME stations. The transceiver interfaces with compatible nav controls and the indicator unit to provide real-time distance data for en route and approach navigation.
Installation requires integration with existing avionics systems per the aircraft's approved installation manual and FAA TSO-C66 compliance standards.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
