Product Description
The ln94-1x10 is a steel cotter pin (split pin) that provides positive locking of slotted fasteners in aircraft assemblies. This LN94-standard pin secures castellated nuts on drilled bolts, preventing loosening from vibration and movement during flight operations. The split prongs spread when installed, creating mechanical lock-in that's quick to apply and easy to inspect visually.
Install per FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance: select the largest pin diameter that fits the bolt hole, insert through the nut slot, then bend the prongs outward to lock. Cotter pins are single-use and should not be reused after removal.
