The LX8000 is a digital flight computer and variometer unit designed for sailplanes. This integrated system combines real-time navigation, performance calculations, and an IGC-approved flight recorder in a single panel-mounted unit. The 3.5-inch sunlight-readable display provides glide navigation guidance and climb/sink rate indication during soaring flight.
The LX8000 connects to pitot-static instruments and aircraft power per LXNAV specifications. Verify wiring harness compatibility and sensor connections before installation in the instrument panel.
