Product Description
The m4501 is a spring-and-flyweight mechanical assembly that retards ignition timing during engine cranking. This impulse coupling installs between the engine accessory drive and magneto on piston aircraft engines, briefly advancing timing to generate a strong spark at low cranking speeds. The internal flyweights snap the magneto back to normal timing once the engine reaches operating RPM.
