The mj11016g is a silicon NPN Darlington power transistor designed for high-current switching and control in aircraft power supply circuits. Supplied by onsemi in a TO-204 (TO-3) package, this device mounts directly to chassis heat sinks for thermal management. Commonly used as a series pass element in aircraft power-supply regulator stages, the transistor handles the current-control requirements of avionics, lighting, and accessory power distribution.
Installation requires proper heat-sink mounting per equipment manual specifications. Many aerospace programs specify MIL-PRF-19500-qualified devices—verify compatibility with your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog before installation.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Avionics compatibility depends on your aircraft model and existing installation. The SEMICONDUCTOR is available in: New Surplus. We recommend checking your aircraft's wiring diagrams and STC documentation, or contact our avionics team for compatibility assistance.
Availability of an FAA 8130-3 tag depends on the part condition. Overhauled and repaired units typically include 8130-3 documentation. As-removed units may include a removal tag with trace history. Contact us for specific documentation on the condition you need.
We can arrange bench testing through our network of FAA-certified repair stations. Call (904) 998-9101 for testing availability and turnaround times, or submit an RFQ with your specific requirements.
