MS20995-C20 is 0.020-inch stainless steel safety wire supplied in annealed condition for aircraft fastener security. This wire prevents bolts, nuts, and turnbuckles from loosening due to vibration in powerplant and landing gear assemblies. The annealed state allows consistent twisting during installation without brittleness or breakage.
Install and torque hardware first, then apply safety wire per FAA AC 43.13-1B procedures and your aircraft maintenance manual. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion in engine compartment and environmental conditions.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
