The MS21075L4N is a self-locking plate nut with two lugs for rivet-mounted installation in aircraft structures. Steel construction with 1/4-28 UNJF-3B threads and all-metal prevailing-torque locking prevents fastener loosening under vibration. The floating design accommodates panel alignment variations during installation.
Mounted with two rivets through the lugs, it serves as a captive threaded anchor where backside access is limited. Common in access panel installations on general and commercial aircraft. Torque mating hardware per MS specifications and aircraft maintenance manual requirements.
