The MS21078-06 is a fixed two-lug self-locking nutplate with a captive 6-32 thread for aerospace fastening applications. Steel construction with a nonmetallic insert maintains prevailing torque to prevent loosening under vibration. Riveted directly onto airframe access panels and structural components where space constraints limit wrench access.
The self-locking design eliminates the need for lock washers or secondary fastening methods. Conforms to Military Standard MS21078 specifications for reliability in critical attachment points.
