The MS25171-4S is a silicone rubber electrical terminal nipple that insulates and protects stud terminals in aircraft wiring assemblies. This small cylindrical sleeve slips over ring-lug terminations to shield exposed studs from moisture, corrosion, and electrical interference. Commonly used throughout airframe electrical systems where wiring harnesses connect to distribution panels, switches, and component terminals.
Installation is straightforward—simply slide the nipple over the lead and terminal per SAE AS50881 wiring standards. The silicone rubber construction provides flexibility and environmental sealing in temperature-cycling flight conditions.
