Product Description
The MS28774-214 is a PTFE packing retainer (back-up ring) designed to prevent O-ring extrusion in pressurized hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This anti-extrusion support ring installs behind the primary O-ring in component glands, protecting the seal under high pressure and dynamic conditions. Commonly used in hydraulic actuators, cylinders, and valve assemblies where pressure spikes could otherwise force the O-ring out of its groove.
