The MS35489-17 is a synthetic rubber grommet designed to protect wires and tubing passing through aircraft panel holes. This nonmetallic grommet cushions conductors against sharp edges and reduces vibration-induced chafing in instrument panels and enclosure openings. Conforming to Military Standard MS35489, it's press-fit into the specified hole diameter and accommodates standard wire gauges routed through aircraft systems.
Common in general aviation and commercial aircraft panel installations where electrical and pneumatic lines require protection during normal flight operations and maintenance access.
