The NAS1193-7-1 is a serrated locking device half designed to prevent rotation of threaded terminals and fittings in aircraft systems. This configuration features an external tab for safety wire attachment per NAS1193 specifications. Installed as one half of a two-piece clamp assembly with the matching NAS1193-7-2 half, it creates a secure grip around fasteners.
