The NAS397-22 is a nonmetallic ratcheting hose clamp with positive-locking mechanism for secure wire and tubing retention. This National Aerospace Standard clamp conforms to NAS397 specifications for aerospace applications. It secures lighting wire harness runs along aircraft structure, preventing vibration-induced movement and chafing.
Installation uses NAS398 pliers where specified, following aircraft maintenance manual procedures. The ratcheting design provides consistent clamping force without over-tightening.
