The p-10a is an aircraft power inverter that converts 28 VDC bus power to 115 VAC, 400 Hz for avionics and flight instruments. This solid-state inverter supplies regulated AC voltage to navigation systems, autopilot components, and instrument displays throughout the aircraft electrical system. Qualified to RTCA DO-160 environmental and vibration standards for reliable airborne operation.
Installation follows aircraft maintenance manual procedures and MIL-STD-704 interface requirements for DC bus connections. Commonly mounted in equipment racks or fuselage panels near primary electrical distribution points.
