CAPPLUG (P/N pd-50) - As Removed

The pd-50 is a Caplugs PD Series protective plug for 37° flared JIC hydraulic fittings. Made from polyethylene, this plug seals 5/16 tube size ports with 1/2-20 UNF threads. Install finger-tight on aircraft hydraulic lines during maintenance and shipping to prevent contamination and foreign object debris (FOD) entry.

Remove before reconnecting service lines. Essential for protecting AN/JIC flare connections when systems are open or components are stored.
