The s12002-177 is a general-purpose diode for aircraft electrical systems that permits current flow in one direction while blocking reverse current. This component protects sensitive avionics, switches, and relay coils from damaging flyback voltage transients in DC power and control circuits. Commonly installed across relay coils and in rectification applications throughout corporate and general aviation aircraft.
Correct polarity during installation is critical for proper operation. Follow aircraft wiring manual specifications and FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance for mounting and integration into electrical harnesses.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
