The s3504-001 is a semiconductor diode for aircraft electrical systems that permits unidirectional current flow. It protects circuits through reverse-polarity blocking and transient voltage suppression on relay coils and DC power feeds. This component clamps inductive spikes that occur during relay switching, preventing damage to sensitive avionics and control circuits.
Installation requires correct polarity orientation per the aircraft maintenance manual or wiring diagram. Qualified to MIL-PRF-19500 screening standards and RTCA DO-160 environmental testing for aviation reliability.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Avionics compatibility depends on your aircraft model and existing installation. The DIODE is available in: New Surplus. We recommend checking your aircraft's wiring diagrams and STC documentation, or contact our avionics team for compatibility assistance.
Availability of an FAA 8130-3 tag depends on the part condition. Overhauled and repaired units typically include 8130-3 documentation. As-removed units may include a removal tag with trace history. Contact us for specific documentation on the condition you need.
We can arrange bench testing through our network of FAA-certified repair stations. Call (904) 998-9101 for testing availability and turnaround times, or submit an RFQ with your specific requirements.
