The S67-2002-4 is a flush-mounted radio altimeter antenna operating in the LRRA band at 4.2–4.4 GHz. This antenna measures aircraft height above ground level by transmitting and receiving low-range radar signals for GPWS and autopilot flare logic. Installed on the lower fuselage, it requires an unobstructed downward view and mounting per aircraft maintenance manual specifications.
The antenna interfaces with compatible low-range radar altimeter systems to provide critical altitude data during approach and landing phases.
