Product Description
The SP90-C3 is a split cotter pin made from corrosion-resistant nickel alloy for safetying castellated nuts and clevis bolts in aircraft assemblies. This pin passes through drilled holes in fasteners and spreads at the ends to prevent unintended loosening during flight and ground operations. Commonly used on control linkages, landing gear attachments, and flight surface hinges where vibration resistance is critical.
Install by selecting the largest pin diameter that fits the hole and bending the prongs outward per AC 43.13-1B standards. Conforms to NASM24665 specifications.
