Product Description

The tid-1 is a static discharger (static wick) that dissipates precipitation static electricity from aircraft structures during flight. Installed on wing and empennage trailing edges, this component prevents static buildup that causes COM/NAV system interference and avionics noise. The discharger features a conductive design that bleeds accumulated charge safely into the atmosphere.

Installation requires proper bonding to the airframe per aircraft maintenance manual specifications and AC 43.13-1B guidance. Conforms to MIL-D-9129 performance criteria for reliable static dissipation in general aviation and commercial aircraft.

Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
