The tsr3 is a silicone elastomer baffle seal for air-cooled piston engine cooling systems. It closes gaps between engine baffles and the cowling to maintain pressure differential across cylinder fins, directing cooling airflow where needed. Installed at the baffle-to-cowling interface, the seal is trimmed to fit and secured with retainers or rivets per aircraft maintenance manual specifications.
