The v5000-12a is a solenoid-operated shutoff valve for aircraft fuel system isolation. This electrically actuated valve provides remote on-demand fuel shutoff between the supply tank and engine or APU, meeting fire-zone safety requirements. When energized, the solenoid electromagnet opens an internal plunger mechanism to allow fuel flow; de-energizing cuts fuel supply instantly.
Constructed with corrosion-resistant materials for fuel system compatibility, the valve mounts inline using standard fittings. Installation requires verification against the aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog and maintenance manual for proper plumbing and electrical connections.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the SELONOID VALVE SHUT OFF against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The SELONOID VALVE SHUT OFF is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
