The w23-x1a1g-5 is a 5-amp thermal circuit breaker from TE Connectivity's Potter & Brumfield W23 series. This single-pole breaker protects low-current aircraft electrical circuits including avionics, lighting, and instrument feeders from overcurrent conditions. The thermal trip mechanism automatically opens the circuit when current exceeds 5 amps, preventing wire damage and system faults.
Mounted through a threaded bushing with screw terminals for panel installation. Wire terminations and torque specifications follow the aircraft maintenance manual and wiring diagram requirements.
