The 156D/04(1) is a fire/smoke detector for aircraft onboard monitoring systems. This sensor provides discrete alarm output to cockpit warning systems when smoke or fire is detected in cargo compartments or other enclosed spaces. Qualified to RTCA DO-160 environmental standards for airborne equipment, it withstands temperature cycling, vibration, and altitude conditions typical of flight operations.
