The 622-8971-112 is a Collins TTR-920 TCAS computer serving as the central processor in TCAS II collision avoidance systems. This DC-powered transmitter/receiver unit performs surveillance, threat tracking, and generates resolution advisories (RA) and traffic advisories (TA) to alert flight crews of nearby aircraft.
