The 712-2dw is a Westach exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor for aircraft piston engines. This Type K thermocouple probe mounts directly on the exhaust stack to measure combustion temperature in real-time. The sensor produces an electrical signal that transmits to a compatible EGT indicator for mixture optimization and engine trend monitoring.
