The 7277-5-71/2 is a Sensata Klixon 7277-series thermal circuit breaker rated 7.5 amperes for aircraft electrical protection. This non-temperature-compensated, trip-free breaker prevents overcurrent damage to wiring and avionics loads on panel-mounted distribution circuits. The long push-button design allows manual reset and quick identification of tripped conditions.
As the commercial counterpart to the MIL-C-5809-qualified 7274 series, it provides reliable protection in general aviation and corporate aircraft electrical systems. Install per aircraft wiring diagram and maintenance manual, verifying rating and mounting compatibility before replacement.
