The 805-18650-001 is a TAWS 8100 processor for terrain awareness and warning systems. This remote avionics unit generates predictive CFIT (Controlled Flight Into Terrain) alerts by processing GPS data, aircraft configuration inputs, and an internal terrain database. The processor integrates into retrofit avionics installations and supports FAA TAWS requirements under TSO-C151 and 14 CFR 91.223.
Installation follows the applicable Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and aircraft maintenance manual procedures. LandMark TAWS equipment compatible.
