The 622-8971-112 is a Collins TTR-920 TCAS computer serving as the central processor in TCAS II collision avoidance systems. This DC-powered transmitter/receiver unit performs surveillance, threat tracking, and generates resolution advisories (RA) and traffic advisories (TA) to alert flight crews of nearby aircraft. Mounted in the avionics bay, it interfaces with radar transponders and display units to provide real-time traffic awareness.
