Product Description
The 9000000-86008 is a TAWS+ terrain awareness and warning system line-replaceable unit (LRU) without integrated GPS. Operating on 28 VDC power, this 2-MCU avionics module provides forward-looking terrain and obstacle detection to prevent controlled-flight-into-terrain (CFIT) incidents. The unit generates aural and visual cautions displayed on cockpit EFIS or MFD interfaces.
Installation requires approved external GPS input per STC requirements and aircraft maintenance manual specifications. Designed for integrated avionics environments in general aviation and business aircraft.
