Product Description
The AN320-5 is a steel hexagon castellated shear nut designed for 5/16-24 UNF drilled-shank fasteners. This nut features castellated sides with holes that accept a cotter pin, providing positive mechanical locking in aircraft control linkages and shear-only joints. Install with clevis bolts or threaded taper pins, torque per aircraft maintenance manual specifications, then secure with the appropriate cotter pin through the castellated holes.
