Product Description
The C2300L4-24 is a panel-mount magnetic compass providing direct-reading heading reference for aircraft cockpits. This FAA TSO-C7d qualified instrument satisfies the magnetic direction indicator requirement under 14 CFR 91.205(b)(3) for certified aircraft. The compass features a fluid-damped card with lubber line alignment and is installed on the instrument panel to display magnetic heading during flight operations.
Installation requires compass swing per AC 43.13-1B or AC 43-215 to establish and document magnetic deviation. A current deviation card must be maintained and accessible to pilots.
