The c6sc1000-9 is a right-hand horizontal stabilizer de-icer boot for aircraft pneumatic ice-protection systems. This elastomeric, inflatable leading-edge boot sheds accreted ice through cyclic inflation and deflation cycles. Installed on the right stabilizer leading edge, it connects to aircraft pneumatic supply lines and operates automatically during flight through icing conditions.
The flexible rubber construction expands and contracts to break ice accumulation before it affects aerodynamic performance. Installation requires verification of IPC compatibility and adherence to applicable aircraft maintenance manual procedures and 14 CFR Part 43 regulations.
