The CI 2580-200 is a Comant ComDat VHF/GPS WAAS antenna combining VHF communications and GPS L1 reception in a single top-mounted unit. FAA TSO-C169/C144 approved and DO-160D qualified, it interfaces with panel-mount Garmin WAAS navigators and VHF radios on certified aircraft. Installation requires appropriate coax cable, connectors, and bonding per the aircraft maintenance manual and avionics installation data.
The antenna provides dual-frequency capability for navigation and communication in general aviation and corporate aircraft.
