The dstr-aoa-1970 is an angle-of-attack (AOA) I/O module that conditions and routes sensor signals from AOA probes to cockpit displays and avionics systems. This module interfaces between vane or pressure-based AOA sensors and indicator outputs, enabling real-time angle-of-attack cues with audio and visual warnings. Installation connects the probe signal input to the module, then routes the conditioned output to compatible display interfaces.
Follow the aircraft maintenance manual and system-approved installation procedures under FAA guidance for proper integration.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Avionics compatibility depends on your aircraft model and existing installation. The IO MODULE, AOA is available in: As Removed. We recommend checking your aircraft's wiring diagrams and STC documentation, or contact our avionics team for compatibility assistance.
Availability of an FAA 8130-3 tag depends on the part condition. Overhauled and repaired units typically include 8130-3 documentation. As-removed units may include a removal tag with trace history. Contact us for specific documentation on the condition you need.
