The foc-4003b is an overvoltage regulator for aircraft DC electrical systems. This component monitors bus voltage and automatically removes alternator field excitation when voltage exceeds safe operating limits, protecting avionics and electrical equipment from damage. Installed in the alternator field circuit, the regulator responds to overvoltage conditions by interrupting excitation to prevent system overstress.
Installation follows aircraft wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions per FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance. Verify compatibility with your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog before installation.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the OVERVOLTAGE REGULATOR against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The OVERVOLTAGE REGULATOR is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
