The in4001 is a silicon rectifier diode that allows current to flow in one direction while blocking reverse current. It suppresses flyback voltage across relay coils and inductive loads in DC control circuits throughout aircraft electrical systems. Install with correct polarity per your aircraft wiring diagram and maintenance manual.
This diode meets aerospace standards and is used in avionics, lighting control, and instrumentation circuits where protection from voltage spikes is required.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
