The md41-1488w is a Mid-Continent MD41 series GPS annunciation control unit providing mode and status indications for GPS-equipped aircraft. This horizontal-mount unit operates on 28V DC power with no front-panel buttons, qualified to TSO-C129 and RTCA DO-160 standards. It interfaces Avidyne IFD 440/540 installations with HSI/CDI switching capability and required GPS alerting functions.
Installation follows the MD41 installation manual and applicable STC data for your aircraft configuration.
