The MS24509-A-5 is a 5-amp single-pole toggle circuit breaker for aircraft electrical systems. This panel-mounted protective device safeguards 28 VDC or 115 VAC, 400 Hz distribution circuits with trip-free thermal protection. When circuit current exceeds the 5-amp rating, the breaker automatically trips to prevent equipment damage and fire hazards.
Installation requires mounting through the aircraft panel bushing and connecting per the wiring diagram to match the protected load amperage. Commonly cross-referenced to Klixon 7270-1-5, this breaker is standard in general aviation and business aircraft electrical systems.
