The rv99-29-2 is a thermal relief valve for aircraft hydraulic brake circuits. It prevents overpressure caused by thermal expansion when fluid heats in closed lines after engine shutdown. The valve opens to vent excess fluid and reseats automatically when pressure normalizes, protecting brake lines and actuators from damage.
Complies with SAE ARP4835A specifications. Install per applicable aircraft maintenance manual and function-test to verify proper opening and reseating pressure.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the THERMAL RELIEF VALVE against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The THERMAL RELIEF VALVE is available in: Serviceable. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
