The s201-800 is a DC current detector for 28 VDC pitot heater systems. Manufactured by American Aerospace Controls as part of the S201 series, this sensor monitors electrical current flowing through the pitot heater feed and signals an annunciator to indicate heater operation status. Installation follows the aircraft wiring diagram, with the sensor positioned in the pitot heat circuit to support pitot heat indication compliance per 14 CFR 25.1326.
