The std2180 is a low-pressure rocker box oil drain hose for Lycoming aircraft engines. This nitrile rubber hose with fiber reinforcement connects the rocker cover drain fitting to the oil return tube, allowing gravity drain of excess oil from the rocker box during engine operation. Commonly installed on Cessna 172 and similar aircraft equipped with Lycoming O-320 engines.
The hose resists oil degradation and maintains flexibility in engine compartment temperatures. Installation follows the aircraft maintenance manual and Textron/Cessna specifications.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the HOSE against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The HOSE is available in: New Surplus. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
