The MST-67A Mode S transponder (066-01143-0601) is a remote-mounted avionics unit that transmits aircraft identification and altitude data to air traffic control radar. This BendixKing transponder supports Mode A, C, and S replies for secondary surveillance radar and TCAS-compatible operations. Installed as a line-replaceable unit (LRU) with an approved control panel and harness per aircraft avionics documentation, the transponder meets FAA TSO-C112 standards for ATCRBS and Mode S systems.
